My name is Amy Rice and I am an education assistant at Bert Ambrose. I was born in New Brunswick and later moved to Brooks, Alberta when I was 20 years old. My husband and I started our family there. I have a 15 year old daughter, Cheyanne and a 10 year old son, Ashton. I spent many hours volunteering in my children’s school and classrooms and was approached by staff that suggested I apply to go on the casual list for EA’s. This is where I started my career in the school district. After spending 16 years in Brooks we were given the opportunity to move to Fort St. John. This is my third year being apart of the Bert Ambrose staff. I feel extremely fortunate to work with the amazing team and students at this school. I wake up each day to go to a job that makes me happy!
