I am Ms. Frasch. This year I am teaching Grade 3/4. This is my first year teaching in Fort St John
I grew up in Keremeos, a small town near the Okanagan. After high school, I moved to Ottawa and completed a BA in Psychology. During summers in university, I worked at multiple sleep-away summer camps, including a camp for children with exceptionalities.
After graduating from the University of Ottawa, I took a gap year. For part of the gap year, I taught English at an English-immersion secondary school in Spain. Unfortunately, the pandemic started while I was there and I had to come home early before Spain locked down.
After my gap year, I returned to university and completed a Masters of Teaching at the University of Toronto. However, almost my entire Masters was online, which meant I completed most of it from my childhood bedroom in Keremeos. During this time I fell in love with British Columbia and decided I wanted to teach in BC. I completed my Masters in April 2022.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking, gardening, dancing, watching TV, yoga, and going for walks and hikes outside.
As a first year teacher, I am very happy to be in such a supportive and welcoming school environment. I look forward to building a strong classroom community and working with the staff, students, and student families to make it a rewarding school year!
