This week at Ambrose- April 15-18 Thei

Good evening,
It is absolutely amazing how quickly time keeps moving forward … here we are at the middle of April already. Looking at my calendar, I suspect the next 11 weeks are going to fly by!
Important things to note for this week:
*Class photos will be taken on Wednesday; it is important for students to arrive to school on time this day as it is very disappointing for them to arrive after their class picture has been taken. If your child has an appointment that day, please let Mrs. Selin know ahead of time so we can try to arrange for their class photo to be taken when they are at school.
*Bert Ambrose Yearbooks go on sale Tuesday  April 16th. Order forms will be coming home with students. You can also purchase online at www.jostensyearbooks.com. If you get your order in by 3:00 pm on April 26th, you only pay $30. After that they go up to $35.  Deadline for all orders is May 10th. You don’t want to miss out on this book full of beautiful images capturing memories of the entire school year.  To include the entire school year, we distribute the books at the beginning of September.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Tanya Hart at (250) 793-0515.  A huge thank you to Tanya for all of the time and energy that goes into creating this beautiful keepsake of the school year!
*There is no school Friday or the following Monday for the Easter long weekend … please make sure that homework assignments and home reading occurs during the break. We are into the final term of school and teachers will be working hard to consolidate learning and ensure that students have covered the necessary learning outcomes for the year. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please make a point of communicating with your child’s teacher.
Lastly, with the unpredictability of FSJ Spring weather, please make sure your child has layers for the cooler days as well as a change of clothing if they might be attracted to the water/mud puddles! It will save you a trip to the school!
