Monday morning, we kicked off our Jump Rope for Heart campaign with cohort assemblies. Students were invited to the gym with their cohort classes to watch a short presentation about our upcoming JRFH event. Mrs. Barr introduced the Jump Rope for Heart event by showing a video from the Heart and Stroke Foundation that highlighted 3 benefits to participating in the program:
1. Skipping is good for your heart and your brain.
2. Funds raised with this program help to save lives.
3. Skipping is fun.
After the video Mrs. Barr’s and Mrs. London’s classes demonstrated some of the skills and tricks they have been working on this year.
