We have had some changes at Bert Ambrose and still have some staffing to do before next week. We will share other news as it is available. Mrs. Shuster will be moving on to Baldonnel School as their new Principal, and we wish her all the best. Mrs. Boyd will be joining us as our new Vice Principal – please join in welcoming her to our school.
 
First Day of School
Our first day will be Tuesday September 8th. On this day students will spend from 8:45 until 10:45 with their teacher from last year. For students new to the school we will have some welcoming activities to make them feel part of Bert Ambrose. The teachers will be meeting in the afternoon to create our classrooms. On Wednesday morning we will start with an assembly and students will then spend the day with their new teachers.
School Supplies
The school has once again purchases supplies for students. If you would prefer to purchase your own, you are welcome to get a list from Mrs. Selin at the office. We would still ask that you pay the cultural fee, agenda and ipad insurance where applicable. As some teachers do not use the agendas, it is best to wait to see which class your child is in before paying the fees.
Kindergarten – $15 supplies, $10 cultural fee
Primary – $30 supplies, $15 cultural fee, $10 agenda
Intermediate – $40 supplies, $15 cultural fee, $10 agenda
