Mrs. Dutchak’s grade 3s and 4s spent some time exploring Ozobots. Before getting to play, students were warned that things may go wrong, this might be difficult, problem solving and a growth mindset are necessary and that they would have to work together! Ozobots are little robots that follow code. The students write the code using red, blue, green and black markers. Different pattern combinations of these colours tell the Ozobot what to do. They can spin, go really fast or slow, as well as follow a variety of other directions. The students were thrilled when they were able to get the Ozobot to do what they intended!
