Bert Ambrose students participated in our annual Student Conference on March 18. Our day started off with 7 players from the FSJ Huskies joining us for a Q&A session and staying to participate in some of the activities in the gym. We also had support from the Indigenous Education Centre as Roberta Chouinard and Diane Barclay joined us for Metis Pointillism. A special thank you to Laurie Thomson, Erin Stewart, and Sylvie Marti for joining us to help with cooking and card making activities. We appreciate your support for our special day. Students were able to participate in either 3 single sessions (Metis Pointillism, Rock Painting, Gardening, Marble Maze, Kite Making, Comics, Stop Motion, Gym Games, Makey-Makey, Paper Planes, Bowling, Nature Walk, Cooking, Card Making, Felting, and Puppets) or a full-day session (Vision Boards). As you will note from the photos, a great day was had by all. A huge thank you to the staff for all of the time and energy that went into planning and executing these sessions. It was wonderful to see the cooperation in the multi-grade sessions and hear laughter and excitement throughout the day. It was a very successful way to transition to Spring Break.
