On Thursday, June 10th our intermediate school community participated in a Track and Field Day! It’s an event that the students look forward to each and every year, and we were so happy to have the meet happen. The kids ran long and short distance races, and tried long jump, ball throw and high jump …many for their very first time! The smiles were beaming off their faces, and it was uplifting to see them show off their athletic abilities. Constable Bojczuk, our Officer Liaison, tried her hand at ball throw, and her partner ran the 200 metre race with the grade 5 boys! The day couldn’t have happened without Mr. Frankham, parent and other volunteers, our PAC, and teachers, so thank you very much! Your dedication to our students was evident, as it always is! Memories were made, talents were acknowledged, and we can’t wait to see the efforts again next year:)
