Today we had an assembly to recognize the members of our Cross Country, Soccer and Volleyball teams. We also have a new challenge from our Classroom Champions mentor, Grace Dafoe. Students are asked to identify times when they have big emotions and find strategies to find their center.

Fire Safety
This week, Ms. Frasch and Mrs.Doherty’s classes had the pleasure to meet with some firefighters to learn about fire safety.
Celebrating Creativity at Ambrose
Everyone was celebrating the creativity at Ambrose in September. Students were busy writing and rehearsing a new school anthem and filming activities for a new school video.

School is Out for Summer
The school will be closed from July 3 to August 27, inclusive.
Administrative staff will be in the office from August 28 to September 1 from 8am to 3pm.

Peer Reading
This morning our Peer Reading Program completed the final session of the year. Older students have been reading with younger students in the morning following the bell to provide additional opportunities for the littles ot practice the skills they have been learning in class.
