The Week Ahead Jan 14-18

Good evening!
We had a fantastic first week back to school despite the extremely cold temperatures for most of the week. Next week looks like a wide range of temperatures ranging from -1 C to -21 C so it will be important to make sure your child has appropriate winter clothing to accommodate sudden temperature changes.

My apologies for the late “Week Ahead” as we return to school but our student management system was taken off-line on Friday afternoon and not restored until this morning. I am going to try something slightly different for January and provide 2 weeks of information with each weekly email.

Purdy's Gift Basket Raffle

We are raffling off a Purdy’s Gift Basket to help raise funds for the Grade 6 Barkerville trip. Tickets are one for $2 or 3 for $5 and can be purchased at the office. The draw for the basket will be at our Christmas Concert on December 18.

Student Vote

Classes from Mrs. London, Mrs. Barr, Mrs. Louie, Mrs. Lavoie and Mrs. Lee’s class participated in the municipal election on Thursday. Ambrose cast 718 votes for City Councillors and 269 votes for the School trustees.
