Student Conference Day – March 17, 2023
On March 17 we held Friday our annual Student Conference and our staff worked extremely hard to plan and organize sessions. A huge thank you to Mrs. Stewart and Ms. Mervyn for all of their work to coordinate this special day.
Beatton Park – Cross Country Ski Club
Sunshine broke through the cold temperatures on Thursday at Beatton Park. The Bert Ambrose Cross Country Ski Club enjoyed perfect weather and conditions on the trails and also loved spending some time in the new lodge.
Worsley Ski Day
Our intermediate students had a great day at Worsley last Tuesday. Thank you to all of the parents who came out and helped to make the day fantastic! And a special thanks to the staff at Worsley ~ Their outstanding organization and effort helped everyone get through the rental chalet quickly and out onto the slopes!
Aristocats
Ms. Chantrill, Mrs. Schneider, Mrs. Doherty and Mrs. Barber’s class has a great time at Ecole Central’s performance of Disney’s The Aristocat’s Kids.

Diorama Building with Mrs. Hofstrand’s Class
Mrs. Hofstrand’s class has been learning about simple machines in science. This week they were able to demonstrate their learning by making dioramas of common simple machines we use in our everyday lives.
100’s Day
On Friday, the primary classes celebrated 100’s day! They moved between 5 classrooms in multi-aged groups. Students used 100 pieces of Lego to build a creation, made (and nibbled) Fruit Loop necklaces, cut and coloured “100” eyeglasses,
Cross Country Skiing is CANCELLED today
Due to the extremely cold temperatures and risk of frostbite, cross country skiing is cancelled today. Students will be dismissed at our regular dismissal time of 2:46pm.

Girls Grade 3/4 Basketball
The girls played their first game against Ma Murray. The girls played hard and worked together as a team!!
