Cross Country Running Oct 3
October 3rd, Cross Country Running:
This is our last race of the season. The team will leave the school at 2:30 and will travel by bus to Taylor. The race starts at 3:00 and the course usually begins by the golf course parking lot.Terry Fox Run 2018
Bert Ambrose students, staff, and family members participated in the school’s Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 28th. Thank you’s going out to Mrs. Fraser for being the school sponsor for this event and to the leadership students in Mrs.
On May 25 we held our school Track Meet for the Grade 3-6 students. We were so happy the weather cooperated! Thanks to all the teacher and parent volunteers who made this event such a success!

If anyone is able to help out with refereeing basketball games, please contact the school. You only need a basic understanding of the rules to be able to help. Please contact Mr. Ritchie at the school if you are able to help.
Cross Country Skiing Fun
These pictures were taken of some of our students who participated in a loppet on the weekend. A loppet is a Scandinavian term meaning a gathering of skiers, who participate in a timed ski event for fun and/or competition.
Basketball News
Our basketball teams are practicing and games for the league for our grade 6 teams begin this week. Unfortunately we had more players sign up than we had coaches and have had to make decisions about teams entered in the league.
Basketball Coaches Needed
Volleyball season is done – thanks to everyone who helped make this season fun for all the participants. The first meeting to set up the basketball season is taking place this week and we are looking for any parents interested in coaching.

Due to concerns over road conditions the boys’ volleyball trip to Hudson’s Hope today has been cancelled.
