Today we held our annual Jump Rope for Heart Challenge. Students in all grades participated in jumping activities in the gym. Thanks to Mrs. Barr and Mrs. London and the leadership classes for organizing and hosting this event!

Hello Bert Ambrose Community! Just a few reminders for upcoming events.
-Hot Dog orders are due tomorrow- Feb 15.
-Intermediate classes that will be going to Worsley please hand your blue forms in tomorrow.
-Jump Rope for Heart is taking place tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
Bullying Prevention
Mrs. Holloway’s class, along with the other primary classes, are working on accepting differences to help prevent bullying. Todd Parr’s book, It’s Okay to be Different, was the inspiration for the project. Check out the many ‘different’

Girls A Basketball Game Feb 5 CANCELLED
The Girls A team basket ball game scheduled for Feb 5 has been CANCELLED. Students will need to be picked up at Ambrose as per usual. Thanks.

Hello … I hope everyone is staying nice and warm on this very chilly Sunday. It is wonderful to see the sunny, blue skies but it is very deceiving as the temperatures are still very cold.
PAC Movie Night- Feb 7
On Thursday, February 7th, PAC is hosting Movie Night featuring the hilarious movie, Home. Doors open at 6:00, and show starts at 6:30. Please do not come early, as the school will be locked. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
Ready, Set, Learn
Registration is now open for Ready, Set, Learn. This is an interactive program designed to help introduce your 3 or 4 year old to the school environment. The dates are as follows:
April 3,10,17 and May 1 at 1:30 -2:30 in the Bert Ambrose Library.

Hello everyone,
This is appempt #2 for the message as my inquisitive kitten managed to send the first one into cyberspace! How I love redoing tasks … it’s a good thing she is rather sweet!
I hope families are enjoying the 4-day break from routine and that our students have had lots of opportunities to “unplug”
Kindergarten Registration
We are now accepting Kindergarten Registrations. Registration packages can be picked up at the office from 8-3:15.
Children who will be five (5) years of age by December 31, 2019 are eligible for registration in Kindergarten.
