When Mr. Eastwood, a long time teacher at Bert Ambrose, moved south, he passed along his collections of empty boxes and plastic caps to Mrs. Tacey. These supplies were used for a vehicle making project. Also needed were Q-tips and plastic straws from juice boxes (thanks to the lunch hour monitor ladies and to Mr.

Purdy's Gift Basket Raffle
We are raffling off a Purdy’s Gift Basket to help raise funds for the Grade 6 Barkerville trip. Tickets are one for $2 or 3 for $5 and can be purchased at the office. The draw for the basket will be at our Christmas Concert on December 18.

Bert Ambrose Elementary hosted a school community Terry Fox Run event on September 28th. We set our fundraising goal at $2000. The students were given the incentives of “Duct taping” Mrs. Watchel to the wall if we raised $1500,

Fire Prevention Assembly
Thank you to the Fort St. John Fire Department for joining us this morning for Fire Prevention and Burn Prevention Week. Lt. Stobbe, Firefighter Winn, and Firefighter Ockenden talked to the students about this year’s theme which is “Look-Listen-Learn”.
